Overview

An event banner tells people they have found the right place: the entrance to the fair, the start line of the fun run, the stall at the market, the gate to the car boot field.

Before and on the day

Put one up a week or two ahead on a busy road or railings, with the date, time and place in large type. On the day, use banners at the entrance, at the stage and behind the stalls so people can find their way.

Fixing

Eyelets go round the edge for cable ties or rope. On a gazebo, tie through the eyelets to the frame legs; on railings, tie at every eyelet so it does not flap.

How far ahead should I put up an event banner?

One to two weeks is common for a local event. Keep the date and place large enough to read from the road.

Can I tie it to a gazebo?

Yes. Thread cable ties or rope through the eyelets and round the gazebo legs or top bar.

Can the same banner be used every year?

Yes, if the design has no date. Some events add the date on a separate small banner and reuse the main one.

What is it made of, and how big can it be?

A 440gsm PVC banner with full colour print on one face, in 13 sizes from 1.5m × 0.5m to 10ft × 3ft and 3m × 2m.

What happens if my banner artwork is not good enough to print?

Uploads go through an automatic size and resolution check, and a file too soft for the size you picked is held back before payment. From there you can swap in a sharper file, promise one later, add File check (£4.99) for a person to review it, or pass the job to our artwork and design service.

How much is postage?

Postage to a UK mainland address is £7.95 for the whole order, and nothing at all once the goods come to £100 or more. Production days for each speed sit beside the price, so you see them before checkout.
