A sale banner works best when it is big, short and placed where people slow down: above the window, on the railings at a crossing, along the front of a forecourt.

Writing it

One message per banner. "Sale", "Now open", "New season stock" or a single offer in very large letters, with your shop name smaller. If the offer has an end date, think about whether you want to reuse the banner.

Pairing it with posters

A banner draws people to the shop; window posters and an A-frame sign on the pavement give them the detail. All three are on this site.

Quick answers about shop sale banners.

How big should a shop front banner be?

Measure the space above the window. 3m × 1m and 10ft × 3ft fit many small shop fronts; 2m × 0.5m suits a narrow fascia or a window.

How do I fix it above the window?

Use hooks or screws at the eyelet positions, or cable ties to a rail. Metal eyelets and hemmed edges help if it stays up for weeks.

Can I get matching window posters?

Yes. Posters from A4 to A0 and A-frame pavement signs are on this site.

What is it made of, and how big can it be?

A 440gsm PVC banner with full colour print on one face, in 13 sizes from 1.5m × 0.5m to 10ft × 3ft and 3m × 2m.

What happens if my banner artwork is not good enough to print?

Uploads go through an automatic size and resolution check, and a file too soft for the size you picked is held back before payment. From there you can swap in a sharper file, promise one later, add File check (£4.99) for a person to review it, or pass the job to our artwork and design service.

How much is postage?

Postage to a UK mainland address is £7.95 for the whole order, and nothing at all once the goods come to £100 or more. Production days for each speed sit beside the price, so you see them before checkout.
