Overview

An A-frame pavement sign does the job a window poster cannot: it sits on the pavement at eye level, right where people are already walking. Each frame comes with two printed posters, so both faces carry your message.

A2 or A1?

An A2 board (posters 420 × 594 mm) is easy to carry in and out each day and suits a narrow pavement or a doorway. An A1 board (posters 594 × 841 mm) is read from further away, which helps on a busy street or outside a venue set back from the road.

What goes on each face

You upload a file for each of the two posters. Send the same artwork twice so people see it from either direction, or two different designs: today's offer on one side, opening hours or an event on the other.

Changing the posters later

When the offer changes, you only need new posters. Our A-frame replacement posters are printed at the same A2 and A1 sizes.

Questions

Quick answers about a-frame pavement signs.

What comes with each A-frame?

One folding A-frame and two printed posters, one for each face. Both posters carry your artwork in full colour.

Which poster size should I choose?

A2 (420 × 594 mm) for a narrow pavement, a doorway or a sign you carry in every night. A1 (594 × 841 mm) when people need to read it from across the street.

Can each side show a different poster?

Yes. You upload a file for each poster, so the faces can differ, or you can send the same artwork for both.

How do I change the posters later?

Order A-frame replacement posters in the same size. You keep the frame and swap the posters when your message changes.

What happens if my artwork is not good enough to print?

Uploads go through an automatic size and resolution check, and a file too soft for the size you picked is held back before payment. From there you can swap in a sharper file, promise one later, add File check (£4.99) for a person to review it, or pass the job to our artwork and design service.

How much is postage?

Postage to a UK mainland address is £7.95 for the whole order, and nothing at all once the goods come to £100 or more. Production days for each speed sit beside the price, so you see them before checkout.
