PVC or PVC-free?
Both are solid banners printed in full colour. Choose PVC-free if the venue, council or school has asked for no PVC; otherwise 440gsm PVC is the usual choice.
School, event and sale pages
The school, event and shop sale banner pages use the same 440gsm PVC and the same 13 sizes as the main PVC banner page. They are there to help you plan the wording and size for each use.
PVC Banners: questions answered
What is the difference between PVC and PVC-free?
PVC banners are 440gsm PVC. PVC-free banners use a 400gsm sheet with no PVC, for places that do not allow it. Sizes and finishing choices match.
Are the school, event and sale banners different products?
They are the same 440gsm PVC banner, sizes and options, with advice written for each use.
Should I choose hemmed edges?
Hemmed edges add strength round the eyelets, which helps outside or for a banner that stays up for weeks.
Which size is most common?
For railings and fences, 2m × 1m, 3m × 1m and 6ft × 3ft are popular. Measure the space first.
What happens if my file is not good enough?
Uploads go through an automatic size and resolution check, and a file too soft for the size you picked is held back before payment. You can then swap in a sharper file, send one later, add File check (£4.99) for a person to review it, or use our artwork and design service.
How much is postage?
Postage to a UK mainland address is £7.95 for the whole order, and nothing at all once the goods come to £100 or more.
